A Word from the Programme Director

“Science never solves a problem without creating ten more.” – George Bernard Shaw Postgraduate research empowers graduate students to undertake a systematic investigation, based on the work built within the field of interest by previous researchers. The research skills developed and mastered will equip the student to become an independent researcher who is capable of advancing knowledge within the field. It requires superior organisation skills with unyielding attention to detail. Research work underpins one’s ability to hone his understanding of experimental methods, and sharpens his evidence-based logical thinking, which is the most crucial skill in assessing the outcome of the research.
