20 November - Unveiling of IMU University’s Innovation Hub
IMU University proudly unveiled its Innovation Hub, marking a major step forward in healthcare innovation, research, and industry collaboration. The IMU Innovation Hub was officially launched by YBhg Datuk Professor Dr Azlinda bt Azman, Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Higher Education.

1 August - IMU Appoints New Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer
IMU University welcomes newly-appointed Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Academician Prof Emerita Datuk Dr Asma binti Ismail, FASc. who brings a wealth of experience from notable institutions and distinguished roles in education, science and healthcare.

7 September - Pioneer batch of Nursing Students
The pioneer batch of 9 students were enrolled in the local 4-year Bachelor of Nursing programme (BNur).
22 August - Memorandum of Agreement with University of Strathclyde
A Memorandum of Agreement was signed between IMU and University of Strathclyde.
20 August - Official Installation as the Second Chancellor of the University
YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Sulaiman Haji Daud was officially installed as the second Chancellor of the University.
1 March - Achieved MS ISO 9001:2000 for Provision of Tertiary Education in Medicine, Pharmacy & Health Sciences
