The end-of-year call to declutter not only cleaned out closets but also filled the PCLC with hope and support. The IMU community responded generously, donating a wide array of items to enhance the therapeutic environment. Contributions ranged from educational toys and books to games and inspirational decor, all aimed at creating a welcoming and nurturing space for clients.
One notable donation came from a university staff member, who shared, “I brought these soft toys because my children have outgrown them. It feels right that they find a new purpose here, for other children.”
The initiative drew heartfelt responses from various campus community members, illustrating widespread support for mental health.
A PCLC administrator expressed, “Seeing people from different parts of our campus come together to support the MHC genuinely touches my heart. It’s more than just a donation; it’s a testament to our community’s dedication to mental health.”
