IMU University Unveils Innovative Multidisciplinary Degrees and Inaugural 2026 Bursary to Fast-Track Student Career Success

In response to a rapidly shifting global economy driven by artificial intelligence, tech integration, and changing consumer behaviors, IMU University has officially announced the launch of a new suite of future-ready undergraduate degrees for its upcoming 2026 intake.

Designed specifically to bridge the traditional divide between arts and sciences, these innovative, multidisciplinary programmes offer a flexible “open stream” pathway welcoming both science and non-science pre-university school leavers.

To mark this milestone, IMU has introduced an Inaugural Bursary for the 2026 intakes, offering substantial financial support of up to RM30,000 alongside merit scholarships to help ambitious students secure a premium education.

IMU’s new programmes eliminate traditional stream barriers, allowing students from any academic background to enter high-paying, future-proof fields:

• Business Analytics

Tracks the data-to-strategy pipeline, empowering grads to use data science and AI to drive high-level corporate decisions.

• Cosmetic Science 

Blends formulation science, regulation, and global marketing to tap into the booming multi-billion-dollar beauty industry.

• Business Administration

Features modern tracks like Digital Marketing and Applied Psychology. Includes an exclusive partnership to earn a second degree from the University of Dundee at no extra time or cost.

Designed for parents and students prioritising a fast return on investment, these science-based programmes focus heavily on rapid industry deployment:

• Food Science Innovation

Features Malaysia’s pioneer 2U1i model (2 years on campus + 1 year working in the industry), allowing students to graduate faster with a full year of real-world corporate experience.

• Nutrition

Introduces three new tracks blending nutrition science with business marketing, consumer behavior, and sports performance for the modern health-conscious market.
